TSK Pathways exists to guide youth toward healthy choices, resilience, and lifelong success. Through prevention education, mentorship, and literacy-based life skills development, we empower young people to build confidence, make informed decisions, and lead purposeful lives. Our mission is to reduce risk factors associated with substance use by providing positive outlets, supportive networks, and opportunities for growth within their schools and communities.
We are grateful to the City of Beckley for its generous $50,000 grant supporting the launch of our new TSK Pathways: Literacy for Life program. This investment allows The Summit Kollective to build upon the success of the original TSK Pathways initiative and expand opportunities, resources, and support for youth and families throughout our community.

Pathways to Prevention: Literacy for Life
This signature initiative blends literacy enrichment with prevention education. Students participate in interactive workshops, reading circles, and creative activities that strengthen comprehension, communication, and critical-thinking skills while exploring real-world topics such as goal-setting, peer influence, and personal responsibility. By connecting literacy with life choices, we help youth see learning as a tool for empowerment and prevention.
Peer Mentorship & Leadership Development
Pathways participants are paired with trained peer mentors who model positive behaviors, encourage open dialogue, and help guide younger students through challenges. Leadership sessions focus on teamwork, problem-solving, and community service—preparing participants to become ambassadors of positive change.
Community Engagement & Family Connections
Through service projects, family nights, and community collaborations, Pathways builds a strong support system around each youth. These activities reinforce accountability, strengthen family bonds, and promote a sense of belonging and purpose.
